Such children will then quietly but illegally vote in Presidential and Congressional elections. According to self-confessing polls, up to 3 million foreigners (legal and illegal aliens) illegally vote in Presidential elections. We have no reliable means of identifying, stopping, or punishing them. 16- and 17-year-olds will simply do the same thing. Since when does a City - a Municipal Government - get to make changes to laws from Higher levels of Government? This isn't how it works at all. If the Feds say you have to be 18 or older - a City cannot say a 16 year old can vote. The City only has say over the voting age for City elections - NOT State or Federal level. Tell the City Councillors to quit smoking Meth. Their pipe dreams are an embarrassment for the people that live there. |
